The Willows
The Willows is a large detached property, set within its own private grounds close to the town of Yarm, in the North East of England. The Willows is situated in close proximity to Stockton, Darlington, Middlesbrough and shares very good travel links with Teesside, Durham and North Yorkshire.
The house has a gated driveway, large front and rear gardens with a large decked and paved area to the side of the property. There is space to the front of the property for visitor parking, including a double garage.
The Willows is decorated and furnished to a particularly high standard and the children have added their own ideas to colour scheme, design and fabric. The layout of the house provides generous space for the children to enjoy group / individual activities in communal or private areas. On the ground floor, there are four spacious communal areas including a large lounge, a “snug”, an open plan kitchen & dining area, a garden room overlooking the rear garden, a utility room, an office and WC. On the upstairs first floor, there is a communal bathroom, landing area and five double bedrooms, three of which offer en-suite facilities.
Manager - Michael
Michael has experience working in education settings with young people with challenging behaviours. Michael has ten years’ experience working in four different Children’s Residential settings - he is Level 5 qualified having completed his qualification 2022.
Michael was an Assistant Manager since September 2019 before he moved to The Willows in February 2021. He was promoted to manager in April 2021, before being Registered as Manager in October 2021.
Assistant Manager - James
James has vast experience working in different Children Residential homes. James has a good knowledge of the role and he is confident in managing challenging behaviours. James has completed training such as his QCF Level 4, PACE and Team Teach. James was promoted to Assistant Manager in July 2023.

The Team
The Willows team has a diverse wealth of talent, experience and skills within the team. Members of the team have worked across a number of fields within the children's sector including children's residential care, specialist education provision, field social work and adult services. The team at The Willows embrace the ethos that "every child deserves a champion" and work tirelessly to support the young people to reach their full potential.
